Bramble Cocktail Recipe
A modern classic created in 1984 by Dick Bradsell in London. A gin sour topped with blackberry liqueur (crème de mûre), served over crushed ice for a refreshing, balanced spring cocktail inspired by childhood blackberry picking.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Gin
- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
- 0.5 oz Crème de Mûre
Instructions
- Add the gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake until well-chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass or old fashioned glass filled with crushed ice.
- Slowly pour the crème de mûre over the top in a circular motion so it trickles down through the drink.
