Mint Julep Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients
- 8-10 leaves Fresh Mint Leaves
- 1/4-1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 2 oz Bourbon
Instructions
- In a julep cup or rocks glass, lightly muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup to release the oils without tearing the leaves.
- Add the bourbon.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice and stir until the outside of the cup is frosted.
- Top with additional crushed ice to form a dome and garnish with a fresh mint sprig (spank or slap the sprig first to release aroma).
- Optionally add a few drops of Angostura bitters.
