Hanky Panky Cocktail Recipe
A classic pre-Prohibition cocktail created by Ada "Coley" Coleman at the American Bar in London's Savoy Hotel. It combines equal parts gin and sweet vermouth with a small measure of Fernet-Branca for a bittersweet, herbal twist on a sweet Martini or Martinez. The name comes from actor Sir Charles Hawtrey exclaiming it was the "real hanky-panky."
