Barracuda Cocktail Recipe
A tropical sparkling cocktail created in the late 1950s by Italian bartender Benito Cuppari aboard a cruise liner. It combines gold rum, Galliano, pineapple juice, and lime, topped with sparkling wine. It won an Italian cocktail competition in 1966 and was popularized by Galliano.

Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Gold Rum
- 0.5 oz Galliano L'Autentico
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 0.33 oz Lime Juice
- top up Prosecco
Instructions
- Add the gold rum, Galliano, pineapple juice, and lime juice to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe, highball, or Collins glass.
- Top up with Prosecco or sparkling wine.
