Black Manhattan Cocktail Recipe
A brooding modern variation on the classic Manhattan created in 2005 at Bourbon & Branch in San Francisco. It replaces sweet vermouth with bittersweet Averna amaro, resulting in a heavier, more bitter drink with herbal and caramel notes.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Rye Whiskey
- 1 oz Averna Amaro

Instructions

- Stir until well-chilled.
