Remember the Maine Cocktail Recipe
A rich, spirit-forward rye whiskey cocktail from Charles H. Baker Jr.'s 1939 book The Gentleman's Companion. It combines elements of a Manhattan and a Sazerac with sweet vermouth, cherry liqueur, and a touch of absinthe. Named after the rallying cry from the 1898 sinking of the USS Maine.
