Hurricane Cocktail Recipe
A boozy, sweet, and fruity New Orleans classic invented at Pat O'Brien's in the 1940s during a rum surplus in WWII. It features two types of rum balanced with citrus and passion fruit, typically served in a signature curved hurricane glass.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Light Rum
- 2 oz Dark Rum
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 1 oz Orange Juice
- 0.5 oz Passion Fruit Puree
- 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 tsp Grenadine
Instructions
- Add the light rum, dark rum, lime juice, orange juice, passion fruit puree, simple syrup, and grenadine to a shaker with ice.
- Shake until well-chilled.
- Strain into a large hurricane glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with an orange half-wheel and a preserved cherry.
