Ingredients
- 1 oz White Rum
- 1 cup Strawberries
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
- 2 oz Cream of Coconut
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 2 cups Crushed Ice
Instructions
- In a blender, combine 1 oz (30 ml) white rum, 1 cup (140 g) chopped strawberries, 1 oz (30 ml) lime juice, 0.5 oz (15 ml) simple syrup, and 1 cup crushed ice. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the strawberry daiquiri mixture into a hurricane glass and place in the freezer to keep firm.
- Rinse and dry the blender thoroughly.
- In the clean blender, combine the remaining 1 oz (30 ml) rum, 2 oz (60 ml) cream of coconut, 2 oz (60 ml) pineapple juice, and 1 cup crushed ice. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the piña colada mixture into the hurricane glass over or beside the strawberry layer to create a layered or swirled effect.
